Founded in 1924, Loro Piana is an Italian company, leader in cashmere.
What does it really involve ?
Since its beginnings, the company has favoured the rarest woollens and has built up a solid reputation. She found “baby cashmere” from China and Mongolia, Merino wool from Australia and New Zealand.
The company is known for the quality of its fibers: durable, handcrafted and made in Italy. But also and especially for its wool of Vigogne: made in the Andes, with wool of llama neck – kept wild. The manufacturing technique is very complicated, few people master it.
